DIYers Can Ceramic Coat Like A Pro!
As a DIYer primarily to save $, I’ve been wanting to try ceramic coating, but was intimidated. It MUST be hard, I thought, otherwise why do people pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to have pros do it? After researching things I decided to go for it. Honestly prepping prior to applying the ceramic coat is the hardest, most times consuming part. I found applying to ceramic coat to be very easy. I was worried I was doing something wrong! But the end result is a slick, shiny, glossy finish. Will need to see how it holds up but based on my experience so far I’m optimistic.

Hat alles super geklappt. Ist seinen Preis wert. Ist nicht meine erste Keramikversiegelung. Ich habe mich diesmal für CND entschieden, da sie ein Top-Seller in den USA sind und viele Rezensionen aufweisen. Würde von dem 10 € China-Mist-Silikon abraten. Ganz wichtig wie in den Rezensionen beschrieben. Nicht zu lange warten nach dem Auftragen.

User instructions were inadequate.
Product didn’t come with the round yellow sponge as advertised in their YouTube post. The product’s use instructions were different than their YouTube instructions. Overall, use instructions were inadequate.

Super Ergebnis .-)Harte Arbeit… gutes Kit!
Hi verwende das Kit jetzt zum 2. Mal. Die Beschreibung ist gut, ich kann dazu aber noch was sagen. Ganz wichtig vor dem Auftragen der Keramik muss das Auto staub- und fettfrei sein. 1. Waschen mit einem Zitrusreiniger ( kein Verbundreiniger der nachwachst) 2. Teerentferner und Reinigungsknete verwenden. 3. Mein Fahrzeug ist neu, man kann aber nochmal eine Reinigungspolitur durchführen. 4. !Auch nach der Politur ist der Wagen nicht staub und fettfrei.! Mit Isopropylakohol auf ein Fasertuch und rübergehen und reinigen!!! 5. Auf einer kleiner Flächen die Keramik auftragen ein bisschen warten und nochmal verteilen (mit einem klammen Tuch). Ganz wichtig wenn es nach 10 min, nebelig schimmert, diese überwischen und mit einem Fasertuch abtragen. Je nach Temperatur kommt das nach 7-10 Min. 6. Bei den US Bewertungen auf Amazon wurde nochmal die Empfehlung gegeben den Wagen 2 Tage in der Garage zu lassen. (kann auch Aberglaube sein) 7. Der wichtigste Schritt. Alkohol………………., für mich! Ist viel Arbeit. Habe die Bewertungen gelesen. Das wichtigste ist den Lack fettfrei zu bekommen. Ist es nicht sauber wird der Schmutz mitversiegelt. Bei Fett und Staub verschlimmert man die Situation. Dann hast du einen Fleckenteppich an Keramik. Das Zeug kriegst du nur mit Polieren wieder runter.

2 coats to really notice the gloss
Love the amount of shine it adds to the black paint. There was some light rain a couple days later and the water just beaded off once the car was in motion. I still wipe it down with a mircofiber towel and distilled water just to remove any collected dust or bugs, it also helps polish up the ceramic sealant.

Did the job - good if you have free time
Prepare to set aside about 8 hours of your day to do this for a small vehicle. Lengthy and painstaking process, but well worth the savings of over $1000 in labour! Excellent results -- water beads off effortlessly after almost a whole year of applying the ceramic coating. Car is also quite easier to wash now.

Wow!!! Look at that shine
Gave it 4 stars as i just applied it 2 hours ago. Easy to put on and wipe off, the prep is the hard part of the whole process. You gotta correct the paint prior to using this so be prepared to spend some time on that. I didnt even use a quarter of it sonim goingbto add a second coat in the morning. I have 2 other cars to do...hopefull i can get 2 done 2 coats with this bottle. We will see how it holds up Update: 19Jan2019 just wet wife's car to see beads and it left ALL kinds of water spots that I can't get out...shine is good but water spots like a mofo

Great product, too little pretreatment
Easy to use, great results. Only problem is that the pretreatment solution provided is too little (in quantity). I ran out of that before running out of the actual ceramic coating. When you run out, buy meguiars quick detailer and continue coating!
