easy to apply. pity the accessories are not up to speed.
So I bought this for my wife's 20 year old maxima. Yes, it was looking tired. Don't believe any product that tells you you can do the short cuts. I washed it, clay barred it, machine polished it with a 7 inch buffer using 3M "finesse it", (super expensive product but very good marine polish). I then washed the car again then went over it with Isopropyl alcohol. I then applied the ceramic coating, and this was the easiest part of the weekend. The results are great. a good depth of gloss to the paint and good water beading after three months. the car looks amazing and not like a 20 year old paint job.The only reason i gave it 4 stars are in the details. the specs say you should have enough for 2 medium cars, and the actual coating will probably have enough to do my SL500 because its tiny. not an issue there, but the instructions say to spray the surface with their "special application spray (sorry, but its been a while since I did it and cant remember the correct name) prior to applying the ceramic to make the sponge glide better. I was very frugal with the spray, but still ran out 2 panels before the end. I filled it with water and finished the car, with no apparent detriment to the outcome. the other problem is they say to put 8 to 10 drops of product at a time on the sponge and it should do 2 sq. ft. Seems to be accurate but the problem is they do not include a dropper or hole in the bottle. I had to drill a hole in the top of the bottle before I could get anything out. I ended up with a very small hole (try drilling a hole in the plastic top) so did 15ish drops to achieve the results. I love the product but get annoyed when things are supplied not as described, or making it more difficult to use than it should be. The devil is in the details!!

DEEP GLOSS FINISH
I used on my pearl White (White Orchid) 2017 Accord. My car is 37months old and still showroom condition. No scratches or dents, garaged. I wash it at least once a week. It's meticulously maintained with MEGUIAR'S G18216 Ultimate Liquid Wax, and Meguiar's Xpress Spray Wax, so it's always shiny, so I was debating if I should apply ceramic coating, but did it any way. That being said, I knew it will require a lot of work to prep my car. I recommend start performing this process early morning and when weather is not very hot (below 80°F). This is what I did: - Washed my car (@ the drive thru car wash) - Soaped & Clayed - Washed and dried (@ the drive thru car wash) - Buffed it with dual action polisher with Meguiar's G17220 Ultimate Compound - Washed and dried (@ the drive thru car wash), then cancelled my monthly (unlimited) car wash service. - Sprayed the entire car with 25% isopropyl alcohol/75% distilled water - Inspected the enitre car for any possible "elements" missed and swirls marks. All is clear. - Applied the ceramic coating following the instructions/video tutorial. At this point, it is now 83degrees in my garage. - I did it by sections, starting with the entire front hood is done into four quadrants. Drops of the ceramic formula is done on the applicator for each quadrant. THEN WAITED 2MINUTES. Then wiped the ENTIRE HOOD WITH DUMP MICROFIBER SUPPLIED. - Don't let it TOO dry before you do the dump microfiber, OR YOU'LL BE IN TROUBLE. - AFTER I WAS DONE, I WAITED TWO HOURS, TOOK A REST. At this point of time, it is now 90°F in my garage - Then inspected everything to make sure that all is perfect. The ceramic is now very dry and I could now see the BIG DIFFERENCE. DEEP GLOSS & SHINY BUT WITHOUT THE SMOOTH FEEL YET. I believe it takes several hours to a day before you get the slick feel/touch. - After the two hour wait, using the Mothers 156501 Yellow Applicator Pad, I applied the Collinite 845 Insulator Wax over the ceramic coating on the entire car. Why not, I have a new bottle that I have not used yet. * I started at 8AM and finished at 7PM. Note that drive thru car wash is only minute away from my house that's why I did the washes at the car wash. * Right after the Collinite 845 Insulator Wax, the RESULT IS AMAZING! IT IS NOW HAS BOTH THE DEEP GLOSS FINISH & VERY SMOOTH TO TOUCH* Will it last? Who knows. Most common reviews regarding it's longevity, were NOT VERY GOOD. Upon application, a pre-treatment, which basically water(?) being diluted with, when the ceramic formula is applied. This is probably the reason why that this product's LONGEVITY suffers. That's why I'm only giving it 4stars. * I will now have to hand wash my car to prolong it's life, and will use the Meguiar's Xpress Spray Wax every AFTER washing the car. Note that the Meguiar's Xpress Spray Wax should be used only after the car has been dried, not when the car is still wet, for better results.

Product works great. Prep is key to make your paint look it’s best especially on dark colours. Great value and seems to be holding up well. Instructions weren’t as clear as I would have liked but I figured it out.

Second truck I used this on
Easy to apply, this is the second time I used this. My last truck was daily driven, and I am in PA with long winter and they use a lot of salt. I put two coats on and it lasted almost three years. for the price and ease of use that is good for me. I just got a new truck, bought this the next day and put two coats on. The only bad thing was the towel it come with shed really bad, I had to use another one I had.

Amazing stuff
I just did my car this past weekend. I have 2013 chyrsler 300c that i bought 2 yrs ago and the paint still looked good But its black and we know black cars can show everything. i had fine surface scratches but it still had a nice shine when i washed it. But this stuff took it to a whole new level of beautiful. The color n drive ceramic coating was actually easy to do. BUT YOU HAVE TO PREP THE PAINT FIRST. That's most of the work. (YouTube it). The one major issue i have and why only give it 4 stars, is that the company needs to put in a larger bottle of pre treatment spray. Only enough for one coat. It hasn't rain yet so i can't say how well the rain rolls off. They want you to wait 48hr so the coating can cure before the car gets wet or is washed. Once you polish the car and put the coating on your car is going to look soooo good. My 300 looks f'n good !!!

I applied it to a 2019 Black Acura and I just thought it looked shiny . Product was super easy to use and as long as you follow the instructions your vehicle will look amazing.It spring and pollen is in the air. Car continues to look fresh everyday in any element. very impressed.

DIYers Can Ceramic Coat Like A Pro!
As a DIYer primarily to save $, I’ve been wanting to try ceramic coating, but was intimidated. It MUST be hard, I thought, otherwise why do people pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to have pros do it? After researching things I decided to go for it. Honestly prepping prior to applying the ceramic coat is the hardest, most times consuming part. I found applying to ceramic coat to be very easy. I was worried I was doing something wrong! But the end result is a slick, shiny, glossy finish. Will need to see how it holds up but based on my experience so far I’m optimistic.

Hat alles super geklappt. Ist seinen Preis wert. Ist nicht meine erste Keramikversiegelung. Ich habe mich diesmal für CND entschieden, da sie ein Top-Seller in den USA sind und viele Rezensionen aufweisen. Würde von dem 10 € China-Mist-Silikon abraten. Ganz wichtig wie in den Rezensionen beschrieben. Nicht zu lange warten nach dem Auftragen.

Super Ergebnis .-)Harte Arbeit… gutes Kit!
Hi verwende das Kit jetzt zum 2. Mal. Die Beschreibung ist gut, ich kann dazu aber noch was sagen. Ganz wichtig vor dem Auftragen der Keramik muss das Auto staub- und fettfrei sein. 1. Waschen mit einem Zitrusreiniger ( kein Verbundreiniger der nachwachst) 2. Teerentferner und Reinigungsknete verwenden. 3. Mein Fahrzeug ist neu, man kann aber nochmal eine Reinigungspolitur durchführen. 4. !Auch nach der Politur ist der Wagen nicht staub und fettfrei.! Mit Isopropylakohol auf ein Fasertuch und rübergehen und reinigen!!! 5. Auf einer kleiner Flächen die Keramik auftragen ein bisschen warten und nochmal verteilen (mit einem klammen Tuch). Ganz wichtig wenn es nach 10 min, nebelig schimmert, diese überwischen und mit einem Fasertuch abtragen. Je nach Temperatur kommt das nach 7-10 Min. 6. Bei den US Bewertungen auf Amazon wurde nochmal die Empfehlung gegeben den Wagen 2 Tage in der Garage zu lassen. (kann auch Aberglaube sein) 7. Der wichtigste Schritt. Alkohol………………., für mich! Ist viel Arbeit. Habe die Bewertungen gelesen. Das wichtigste ist den Lack fettfrei zu bekommen. Ist es nicht sauber wird der Schmutz mitversiegelt. Bei Fett und Staub verschlimmert man die Situation. Dann hast du einen Fleckenteppich an Keramik. Das Zeug kriegst du nur mit Polieren wieder runter.
