Graubeige is Volvo paint code 600. Volvo used 600 on the Car from 1986 to 1990. 600 is a solid, high gloss finish. Graubeige is sold as Shell White in other markets.
The kit is mixed to the 600 formula — the same code printed on your vehicle’s paint label — not colour-matched by eye. On panels that still carry their factory paint, that reproduces the original tone.
Where it will not match
Panels bleached by years of sun sit lighter than the factory formula. The kit reproduces the original colour, not the faded one.
A panel that has already been resprayed is no longer the factory colour, so the code will not describe it.
Metallic and pearl finishes are harder to blend across a large area than solid colours — they are at their best on chips and thin scratches.
Damage larger than a few centimetres, or down to bare metal over a wide area, is body-shop work.
