Hyper Metallic is Hyundai paint code P2S. Hyundai used P2S on the Santa FE, H1, H300, Grand Santa FE from 2011 to 2019. P2S is a metallic, high gloss finish. Hyper Metallic is sold as Hyper Silver Metallic and Iron Frost Metallic in other markets. Of the 79 Hyundai silver colours ordered from us, 35 have been ordered more often than Hyper Metallic.

The kit is mixed to the P2S formula — the same code printed on your vehicle’s paint label — not colour-matched by eye. On panels that still carry their factory paint, that reproduces the original tone.
Where it will not match
- Panels bleached by years of sun sit lighter than the factory formula. The kit reproduces the original colour, not the faded one.
- A panel that has already been resprayed is no longer the factory colour, so the code will not describe it.
- Metallic and pearl finishes are harder to blend across a large area than solid colours — they are at their best on chips and thin scratches.
- Damage larger than a few centimetres, or down to bare metal over a wide area, is body-shop work.
