Rouge Ardent is Citroen paint code X9. Citroen used X9 on the C3, C3 Aircross, Berlingo, Jumpy from 2000 to 2020. X9 is a solid, high gloss finish. Rouge Ardent is sold as Ardentrot, Rubin Rot and Passion Red in other markets. Of the 39 Citroen red colours ordered from us, 20 have been ordered more often than Rouge Ardent.

The kit is mixed to the X9 formula — the same code printed on your vehicle’s paint label — not colour-matched by eye. On panels that still carry their factory paint, that reproduces the original tone.
Where it will not match
- Panels bleached by years of sun sit lighter than the factory formula. The kit reproduces the original colour, not the faded one.
- A panel that has already been resprayed is no longer the factory colour, so the code will not describe it.
- Metallic and pearl finishes are harder to blend across a large area than solid colours — they are at their best on chips and thin scratches.
- Damage larger than a few centimetres, or down to bare metal over a wide area, is body-shop work.

Esta bien el producto para tapar alguna raya pequeña, el color está muy logrado y es idéntico al original del coche. Lo recomiendo, pero no sustituye el llevarlo al taller a que lo pinten, como apaño bien está.
